Photo decoder software notices

WhirledPiece uses the browser's image support and, when needed, the following unmodified open-source libraries to decode a photo before normalizing it. The licenses below apply to those libraries. Copyright notices and full license texts are provided with this website.

heic-to 1.5.2

HEIC/HEIF decoding library by HopperGee. Licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License, version 3 or later, as stated in the distributed license. The library is provided without warranty.

This release uses libheif 1.22.2 source. Its upstream build instructions identify the libde265 1.0.16 decoder source and describe rebuilding the browser decoder. These upstream projects include their own license and copyright notices.

UTIF.js 3.1.0

TIFF decoding library. Copyright © 2017 Photopea. Distributed under the MIT License, including its warranty disclaimer.

UTIF uses pako 1.0.11 for compression support. Pako's MIT license, Zlib copyright notice and versioned source are also available.
